3. We considered Louise a sort of clown>  Louise was considered a sort of clown. 
4. In 1665, they carried out a colour experiment. > In 1665, a colour experiment was carried out.
5. At last, he demonstrated the relationship between light and colour. > At last, the relationship between light and colour was demonstrated by him.
6. We call these sections signatures. >These sections are called signatures.
7. People have never believed these stories. > These stories have never been believed (to be true)
8. The Board has postponed the meeting. The meeting has been postponed by the Board.

• Only by            Only by working extremely hard could we afford to eat.
