Thumbelina was a little girl. She was called Thumbelina  because she was as tall as a thumb. Her teeth were white and bright. She was very thin too. So, her mother made thick clothes  with three layers to save her from the thorns of vines. She used to give her thick broth after a bath. Now, Thumbelina is three  years old .
