CLP Regulation: A regulatory framework for classifying, labeling, and packaging chemicals in the European Union. Pictogram: A symbol plus other graphic elements that provide information about the hazards of a chemical. Flammable: Easily ignited and capable of burning rapidly. Toxic: Capable of causing injury or death through ingestion, inhalation, or skin absorption. Corrosive: Able to destroy or irreversibly damage another surface or substance upon contact. Oxidizing: Contributing to the combustion of other material through the release of oxygen. Environmental Hazard: A chemical that poses a risk to the environment. Explosive: Capable of causing an explosion under certain conditions. Acute Toxicity: Adverse effects resulting from a single exposure to a substance. Irritant: A substance that can cause an inflammatory effect on living tissue at the site of contact.
