and continues to go on

Formula:
[have/has] + been + [-ing form] 
I have been walking for hours and I'm still not home!

Past Perfect
- used to talk about two events in the past and show which happened first 
had + [past participle] 

Present Perfect Continuous
- started in the past and still goes on (more emphasis)
[have/has] + been + [-ing form]
