When do we use it?
- Things that happen often, habits, routines

- Feelings, opinions, permanent situations

When do we use it?
- Things happening now (at the moment of speaking)
We are learning about the present tenses.
- Things happening around now 
I am learning English.

When do we use it?
- Events from the past that have consequences in the present
I can't give you my textbook, I have lost it.
- Events that started in the past and are still going on
She has lived here for 5 years.
- Past events when it doesn't matter when they happened 
I have been to a lot of countries in Europe.
