Als we om informatie vragen stellen we vaak directe vragen:
Where is it?
How much am I going to earn?
Als we formelerer/beleefder willen zijn gebruiken we indirecte vragen:
Could you tell me where it is?
May I ask how much I am going to earn?

How to form an indirect question...
Indirect questions often begin with:

- I was wondering ...;
- I would like to know ...;
- Could/Can you tell me ...;
-  Do you have any idea ...;
- May I ask ...;
