Wat zijn prepositions?

1. voegwoorden
2. voorzetsels
3. lidwoorden

Wat is dat?

Voorzetsels zijn woorden als aan, in, op, uit en voor. Ze vormen meestal het begin van een woordgroep: aan de muur, in de kast, op donderdag, uit gewoonte, voor jou, enz

Prepositions of time

- Geeft aan wanneer iets gebeurd

'on': dagen en datums/data

I have a game on Saturday.

In: maanden, jaren, seizoenen en specifieke delen van de dag

I woke up in the afternoon.

At: tijden en feestdagen

I saw my aunt at Christmas.

time: use the triangle

at = specifieke tijden/feestdagen

 on = op een specifieke dag

in = heel breed, jaren, maanden, weken, etc. 

 Je kan dit ook gebruiken bij plaatsen. At = specifiek (naam, adres, plaats > on = minder specifieke straat > in = heel breed steden, gebieden, landen

Prepositions of place

- Geeft aan waar iets gebeurd

On: openbaar vervoer en iets ligt ergens bovenop

My phone is on the table.

In: plekken in de natuur, landen en als iets ergens in is

He took photos in the cathedral. 

At: specifeke locaties, huisnummers en (namen van) gebouwen

I am at the station.
