Before a diamond even gets to the precious jewel that it is, it starts out as coal and has to placed under immense pressure to become a rough diamond.
Once it has become a fully formed rough diamond, it gets cut and polished. That’s why it is so
sought after: it’s rare and has taken years and undergone a process to create.
The same applies to success. It comes after struggle, persistence, pressure, fatigue, doubt, stress. These are unpleasant experiences which is why most people avoid them. But if you’re trying to shine like a diamond, you have to be willing to get cut. Willing to embrace constructive criticism. Are you?
