In this week's first lesson, you're going to read a short story.

Afterwards, you will be told how you can achieve 1 point for your reading file this week.

At the end of this Lesson up! you know more about the short story by reading it and doing the exercises in this lesson.

Morals

The animation was about "morals"

Een "moral" zijn gezegdes over iets goed of fout doen. Bijvoorbeeld "Wie goed doet, goed ontmoet"

In the short story on the next slide there is a moral lesson as well. 

The four students

The Four Students

 

There were four friends who hated studying. They partied all night before their exams and planned to skip the test by lying to the professor. So they went to the dean and told him that they had been to a wedding the previous night and on their way back, they had a flat tire. They continued to say that they had to push the car all the way back, as they didn’t have a spare tire and hence, were not in a position to write the exam.

The dean listened and agreed to let them take the test on a later date.  --> 

Happy that they got a second chance, the four friends studied hard and were ready for the exam. On exam day, the dean asked the students to sit in separate classrooms, which the students agreed to.

The examination paper had only two questions, for a total of 100 marks. The questions were thus:

a) Front left b) Front right

c) Rear left d) Rear right

Wat is de "moral" in de short story?

Morals poster

Om een punt te verdienen voor je reading file, ga je een Morals poster maken. Je gaat dus 5 gezegdes / levenslessen (morals) zoeken die jij belangrijk vind.  Dit mag je in het Nederlands opzoeken en dan naar het Engels vertalen. Of gelijk in het Engels opzoeken. Wat jij fijner vind!

Met deze 5 morals ga je een poster maken. Dit mag digitaal  (Word/PowerPoint etc.) maar ook fysiek (op een blad met stiften, potloden etc.) Deze poster mag je helemaal zelf vormgeven/verzinnen/ versieren etc. Als je iedereen maar overtuigd dat jou morals de beste zijn ;) 

Deze poster lever je Vrijdag 12-02-2021 vóór 16.00 in op Itslearning. 

Dan ontvang je 1 punt voor je reading file! 

Wedstrijd!  De mooiste poster laat ik printen op poster formaat en krijgt ook nog iets lekkers !
