Lesson aims 

At the end of this lesson you will have practiced writing about the past, using the Past Simple and Present Perfect correctly. 

You will have practiced giving others feedback, focussing on the correct use of the Present Perfect and Past Simple. 

Past Simple 

Event that was completed in the past. 

Regular: base + ed (walked)

irregular: 2nd form of the irregular verbs. (did)

Present Perfect

Something that started in the past and still has an effect now. 

Regular: have/has + past participle (base +ed) 

Irr.: 3rd form of the irr. verbs
