a paragraph is a group of sentences (3 or more) that are all about one idea
what do you want to say? Be clear and make a point!
Start with the most important point and then clarify in the rest of the paragraph

PARTS OF A WELL WRITTEN PARAGRAPH:
1. topic sentence (introduce your point)
2. supportive sentences (back-up your main point with more information)
3. conclusion sentence (say the main point in different words to wrap up)

The puppy is a troublemaker. It chews up our shoes every chance it gets! The puppy snatches toys and runs away with them. Every time I turn around, it is pulling trash out of the bin. The puppy causes tons of trouble!
