What do you remember about the zero and first conditional?

Do it yourself! 

What: The teacher will show you two situations on the bord. For each situation you will have to form conditional sentences. 

How: Type your answers in Lessonup. 

Help: For the first situation the teacher will give you an example. The second situation you will have to do all by yourself. 

Time: 2 minutes for each situation.

Done: Try switching the condition and the result. 

Situation 1

You are 18 years old and I (your teacher) am your mother. You have a date with a boy/girl and you want to borrow my brand new car. You have to convince me to let you borrow my car by offering something in return. Use the first conditional!

Convince me to lend you my car. Use the first conditional!

Example: If you lend me your car, I'll cook dinner every day!

Situation 2 

Your behavior in class today was terrible! Your teacher tells you that she has no other option but to inform your parents. You really don't want that to happen because there is a great party this weekend and you don't want to be grounded. Convince the teacher to not phone your parents!
