Zet NOT achter de vorm van to be (am/are/is)

I am happy.         > I am NOT happy.   (I'm not)

You are nice.       > You are NOT nice. (You'aren't)

He/She/It is small. > He is NOT small.  (He isn't)

We are funny.       > We are NOT funny. (We aren't)

They are tall       > They are NOT tall.(They aren't)

Vragen maken met 'to be'

Om vragen te maken met 'to be', zet je am/are/is vooraan in de zin:

I am happy.             > Am I happy?

You are nice.           > Are you nice?

He/She/It is great.     > Is he great?
We are funny.           > Are we funny?
They are tall.          > Are they tall?
