Lesson Goals

● After this lesson the pupil can hold a monologue using formal OR informal language.

● After this lesson the pupil is able to paraphrase certain descriptions to be able to hold a successful monologue.

- While watching, individually:

Individually:
What was the difference between the first and second clip (regarding style)

Unknown words

- Do exc. 2 individually

- Reformulate these words

- Write down whether you think it is a formal OR informal word

- Discuss these with your partner & Let's discuss with the whole class

Were your descriptions more formal or informal?

Speaking with lots of help

- Form pairs & listen to the first  film together (turn the subtitles
   on)

- Repeat the 2 minute to the other person; line for line

- Your partner corrects you, if necessary

- Is this difficult? You can do the first  1 min./30 sec. instead (but
   you have to ask me first)

Speaking with less help

-First of all, the rubrics (let's look at it together)

- Secondly, make a choice (recording alone or in a pair? & formal
                                                          or informal)

- Thridly, you can choose to monologue on the JFK conspiracy
   or choose one your own

- Do additional research (so you can talk about it for 1 minute)

- Record yourself! And have fun with it

Rounding Off

- Finish up your recording! (you can just record a zoom meeting)

- Hand it in via Magister or Mail ([e-mail])
