Lesson Goal

The students can write a brochure about an English-speaking country

What is a brochure? Give an example.

A brochure gives information about a service or product. For example, there are brochures about medicine at the doctor's office.

Content (inhoud) of the brochure

• Frontpage.
• Climate, what's the weather like?
• Population (bevolking), how many people live in that country?
• Sightseeing, what can tourists do/see in that country
• Holiday, what do they celebrate?
• Fun fact.

What are you going to do?

• Today: fill a plan-of-attack & write the texts
• Write a brochure about an English-speaking country
• Use Word to write with, and use sites like Canva to design
• I will walk around to help out
• The brochures will be displayed in the classroom
• You will work in groups, if anyone's missing keep them updated!
