An Allochtoon is someone who has at least one parent who was born in another country

In 1960 Moroccans and Turks came to the Netherlands for work. 
Later on they had family reunification and family formation

When you are a migrant worker and your wife and kids come over to the country you work in.

Later on the children from that family can marry someone of their country. 
They'll start a family within the Netherlands.

Where do the new dutch live?
1. They live mainly in the west of the Netherlands
2. They mostly live in the large cities
3. In those, cities they live in neighbourhoods that have cheaper housing, such as the old neighbourhoods around the city centre

People with a specific cultural background live concentrated in 1 neighbourhood. 

When these people have little contact with the rest of the people in the country, then it is segregation.
