-It describes the quantity of noun.

-It tells us the amount (number) or quantity of a noun.

-We use many to show countable things or nouns.
-We use much to show uncountable things or nouns.

Countable nouns are for things we can count using numbers.
Uncountable nouns are for the things that we cannot count with numbers.
