An introduction into the world of poetry!

Goals of this lesson

- I will be introduced to poetry and know some important characteristics;

-  I will share my views and opinions on the poems we read; 

-  I will get a feeling for poetry and want to know more!

Have you ever been in love?

Do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?

Have you ever been rejected or rejected someone?

Poem 1

On your worksheet:

1. Write down a translation of this poem (doesn't have to be grammatically correct)

2. Explain what the poem is about

What is your advice to this person?
Can you come up with something to make him feel better?

You must write a full sentence!

Poem 2

Recite the poem in pairs. One will be black and the other will be green. Switch roles.

What did you think of this poem?

What is a "life" question you have?
