Introducing you to Division

You will be participating in some fun activities and learn about Division but first let me tell you a bit about Division .

What does that look like?

• The division symbol ( / ) means to divide or split into equal parts.
•  For example 12/3 asks how many threes can fit into 12.

General Rules

•  Anything divided by 0 is going to be undefined.
•  Any number divided by 1 (besides 0) will that number.
•  Dividing any whole number by itself will be 1.
