Stinky cheese can be very good for your skin. Back in ancient Egypt many of the wealthy citizens used stinky cheese under their eyes to make them look fresh and dewy. The smell of the cheese has healing qualities which can rejuvenate and moisturize the skin. So maybe next time you go to the grocery you should purchase some stinky cheese and slap some of it onto your face for a nice glow.

Don't Stand Out
Frogs are prey for many animals such as snakes, raccoons, and even other frogs!  How do they stay safe and not become someone’s dinner?  Some frogs use camouflage to blend into their surroundings.  A green frog hiding in green leaves is difficult for a predator to see.  Some frog species are noted for being able to change their color and pattern. Gray tree frogs are known to go from green to gray or brown in a matter of seconds. Barking tree frogs not only change their colors, but can display dark spots or a unicolor skin to help camouflage.
 

Warning: Poison Dart Frogs Ahead

What beautiful creature comes in all the colors of the rainbow yet is covered in poison from head to toe? The poison dart frog! This frog is located only in the rainforests of Central and South America. The poison dart frog is one of the most toxic living things on Earth. These stunning creatures use their beautiful colors as a serious warning to potential predators. Don’t come any closer! Just a tiny drop can kill small animals like birds and mice. If the poison doesn’t kill their predators, the pain will have them avoiding the frog in the future.

“What do frogs eat?”

All adult frogs need a regular diet of fresh insects; some frog species also need small animals or fish to stay healthy. In the wild, frogs are opportunistic feederseating whatever comes their way so you want your frog food to duplicate that experience at home as best you can. And proper nutrition requires a bit more work than dropping random insects into your tree frog’s enclosure  While crickets are the most common frog food, it is important to offer your frog a varied diet, including grasshoppers, locusts, mealworms, and, for some larger species, small mice.

Froggy's First Day

Freddie Frog was so nervous for his first day of school!  He had been dreading this day!  He had no idea what to expect from school.  He packed up his backpack and slowly hopped down the stairs.

His mother was waiting for him in the kitchen.  She smiled as she set a big bowl of flies out for Freddie’s breakfast.  He gobbled them down with his long, sticky tongue.  He thought about heading to school for the first time and suddenly, he wasn’t hungry anymore.
