Modifiers

We use modifiers to talk about how much, or how little, something is true.

Modifiers

quite, quite a/an  --------------- is less strong than 'very'

 modifiers with similar meaning:

relatively, fairly, pretty, reasonably

Example:

"I would describe my life as quite normal."

"That's quite a difficult language to learn."

Modifiers

a bit more/less---------------small amount or less

 a lot more/less --------------- large amount or less

Example:

I'd like to travel a bit more

She'd like to spend a lot less
