Eustachian tube connects to your nasal cavity/throat.

 It makes sure that the air pressure caused by sound waves remains the same on both sides of the eardrum. If this is not the case, the eardrum cannot vibrate accurately, and the incoming sounds are not detected. properly.

How can you hear sound?

The way sound travels:

Pinna - Ear canal - Eardrum - Hammer - Anvil - Stirrup - Cochlea (creates nerve impulse) - Auditory nerve --> cerebrum (brain)
