1. Something happened in the past (multiple times) but time doesn't matter. 
I have met her several times already. 

2. Something started in the past and is still going on/visible now. 
She has dyed her hair - it's purple now!

3. Something just happened or is about to happen. 
She hasn't seen the present yet, but she will!

4. When you have a certain experience and it's relevant now. 
I have visited France already, so I want to go somewhere else.
