1) Can you identify with the protagonist? Why? Or why not?
2) Tell about the actions of the antagonist. What is the influence on the story, and protagonist?
3) Where and when does the story take place? Tell about the setting and why it is important to the story.
4) What is the conflict of the story? Is it resolved? How?
5) What is the climax of the story? Why?
6) Are the characters round or flat? Give examples. And explain whether there is character development.
7) Are there flashbacks in the story and if so, why are they important?
8) What is the overall theme in the novel?
9) Are there symbols in the novel?
10) Explain the title.
11) Tell about the atmosphere in the novel.
