It is important that you complete this task correctly to ensure that you have something to improve using AI later in the lesson.

  1. Go to: https://chat.openai.com
  2. Click Sign Up
  3. Click Continue with Google (Do not enter an email manually – you must use this option)
  4. Sign in using your Garibaldi school email
    Example: 4041jaco25@garibaldischool.co.uk
  5. When prompted by Google, click “Allow” to link your school account.
  6. When ChatGPT asks for your name:
    Enter a made-up name (e.g. Jamie Conners)
  7. When it asks for your date of birth:
    Enter 26 February 2010

  1. Copy your story from MS Word.
  2. Go to https://chatgpt.com/  or if you have issues you can use: https://talkai.info/chat/
  3. Paste your story and ask:
  4. “Can you improve this story for grammar and make it flow better?”
  5. Review what AI gives you. Copy it into a new Word document.
  6. Highlight any changes you agree with and leave out anything you don’t.
  7. If you have time you can use AI to extend and improve your story.

It’s time to get creative!

Your Task: Ask ChatGPT to write one of the following:
📝 A poem about your favourite tech
🎵 A song about being a student in Computing lessons
🎤 A rap about AI taking over the world (or helping with homework!)

How to Ask ChatGPT:
“Can you write a funny rap about AI doing my homework?”
“Write a poem about how much I love coding.”
“Write a song about learning Computing at school.”

REMEMBER to keep prompting ChatGPT until your song is perfect (it will probably not get it right first time).
