Grammar: Past Simple Passive
Step 1: Switch the subject (onderwerp) and the object (lijdend voorwerp)
Step 2: Use a form of to be in the past + past participle  (ir. verbs: p. 216)
Step 3: use the preposition (voorzetsel) by to say who or what does the action, but only if this is important

My mom (subject)/ fed/ the cat (object)
1. The cat fed my mom
2. The cat was fed my mom
3. The cat was fed by my mom
(Verbs end with -ed)
