few = aren't many of something - countable nouns
            There are a few books left over.                 There were too few students in class.
Used to give information about the amounts of something.
a little = small amount or almost nothing of something.  - uncountable nouns
            There is little you can do about it.              She has a little bit of milk in her tea.
A lot of / Lots of  = large amount of something. uncountable & countable nouns
              A lot of/ Lots of students like to watch football.           He ate a lot of / lots of pizza last night. 
much / many     - much for uncountable and many for countable nouns. 

some / any          - some for positives and any for questions and negatives.
