Suggestions and Negative Imperatives

Grammar review

  • Use "Let’s + base verb" to make suggestions.

Examples:

Do you like basketball? Let’s play!

  • Use "Don't + base verb" to give orders, commands, and instructions. You can add ā€œpleaseā€ to make it more polite.

Examples:
