Rules (1)

• No phones (phone is either in your locker or phone bag).
  
  
• No eating and drinking in the classroom or hall.
  
  
• Raise your hand if you have a question or comment.

• Stay seated until the bell rings.
  
• Always bring your books.
  
• Take notes.
  
• Stick to deadlines (homework will be checked regularly).

ALQUIN

• Magazine 4x a year. 
• Textbook and a Workbook. (No extra copies!)
• Work in a notebook; workbook too small to write in.
• Test: Vocabulary A and Grammar.
• Exercises have letters instead of numbers.
• Bold letters in the study guide are obligatory exercises.

PTA

Book Pitch Assignment

• Short video (5 min max.) uploaded on Youtube on a novel.
• SELL THE BOOK! 
• Information about the book.
• Summary
• Strengths/Weaknesses
• Information about the author.
• Conclusion
• Assignment in Studiewijzer Magister.

The teacher will ask a couple of students for the right answer.

This week:

• You will pick a book for Book Pitch and start reading.
• Next class: exercises C,E,F with text Married to a Drug Trafficker (2nd class homework will be checked). And D, I, H.
• In class: Take notes on Negative Sentences and Questions.
• Start learning your vocabulary (write, don't type...please).
