De windrichting is de richting waar de wind vandaan komt. Als de wind uit het westen komt, heb je dus westenwind. De wind waait dan van het westen naar het oosten. Wind kan vanuit het noorden, zuiden, westen of oosten komen.

In geography: Approximate measurement of the physical space between two places.

Absolute

Exact measurement of the physical space between two places.

Shrinking distances 

The relative distance is shrinking. 

Causes:

Mobility- the ability to move freely.

Absolute- and relative distance

Relative distance: Distance measured in travel time

Absolute distance: Distance measured in a straight line
