Explanation of the assignment

1. You will be formed into groups of 3. 
2. Each group will have 2 persons participating in the discussion. The third member will be observing the conversation. 
3. The observer will have to fill in a feedback form.
4. Everyone will play the role of observer once. 

Important rules

• You record every session (i.e. also the conversation after your discussion) --> only audio!
• One person chooses a statement --> but no double statements!
• Please try to use words that you learnt during this lesson series. 
• 2 minutes discussion -  2 minutes feedback round

Random number

You will receive a random number before each round (only the students doing the discussion):

1 = I do not agree at all

2 = On the one hand, ... , on the other hand

3 = I absolutely agree

These are the ways in which you have to talk about the statement!

Example

Group 1 = student A, student B, student C 

Student A starts observing (and fills in the form). 

Students B and C start the discussion. One of them chooses a statement. They both receive a number, which indicates their position regarding the statement.

After two minutes, all three group members discuss the conversation according to the feedback form.
