  • Cell Biology → study of cell structure and how cells work

  • Biochemistry → study of chemicals and reactions inside living things


🔬 2. What counts as “structure” (Cell Biology)

You should recognise things like:

  • Organelles (nucleus, mitochondria, membrane)

  • Cell processes (diffusion, osmosis, cell division)

👉 If it’s about parts of the cell or what the cell does physically, it’s Cell Biology


⚗️ 3. What counts as “chemistry” (Biochemistry)

You should recognise:

  • Molecules (proteins, lipids, DNA)

  • Enzymes

  • Chemical reactions and energy processes

  • Cellular respiration and Photosynthesis

👉 If it’s about molecules or reactions, it’s Biochemistry
