Road freight transport is the moving of cargo (on roadways using a vehicle (usually a lorry).

Curtain sided lorries are the most used vehicles for general road transport. 

This helps with quick loading and unloading and access to the cargo. It  provide protection from the weather.

3. Temperature controlled Transport

This type of road cargo transportation has special temperature- controlled trucks and insulated walls. This means they have a built- in refrigeration system. This helps keep the products at a required temperature throughout transportation.

The most important advantage of temperature-controlled trucks is that it keeps food in the best condition during transportation.

5. Open Car Transport

Open car transportation are vehicles transported on an open trailer and exposed to the outdoors.

 These car carrier trailers have built in ramps that make loading and off-loading easy.

They use power hydraulics to raise or lower the ramps. This type of car carrying transportation is widely used. The cars are secured with wheel chocks that are locked in place on the decks. A car carrier can fit between 5 and 9 cars.
