  • Invertebral discs
Backmuscles have a big job in keeping this shape.
Works as a shockabsorber
Can move slightly allowing you to bend your back.
also helps absorb shocks.

Invertebral disc = anulus fibrosus
gelatinous core = nucleus pulposus
