Je gebruikt de present simple voor dingen die over het algemeen waar zijn, over gewoontes en feiten. 

Je gebruikt de present continuous voor dingen die op dit moment aan de gang zijn.

Zelf oefenen: 
Op de volgende slides met open vragen krijg je steeds een plaatje te zien. Daarover schrijf je twee zinnen: eentje in de present simple en eentje in de present continuous. Denk daarbij ook aan woorden als always, never, usually (present simple) of at the moment, right now (present continuous).
De eerste is een voorbeeld. 

Als je een woord niet weet mag je het vragen of opzoeken.
