Be aware of the following words for your novel:
Theme, setting, narrative perspective, flashbacks, flashforwards, methaphor, character (flat/round).
Questions could be asked like:
• The book deals with the theme LOSS, can you explain that?
• Why is the character behaving this way? Why is he or she making this choice?
• From which perspective is the book written?
• What symbols or objects are reoccurring in the book and why are they of importance?

Round-robin discussion
  • Stand up and form two rows between tables (in both pathways)
  • Turn to face your neighbour.
  • Discuss the prompt for 1 minute, fill the time!
  • Left row shifts up one person.
