Intermediate 2 - Unit 5 p.49

There are 3 verb phrases often used to talk about the future

1. going to + V1  (intentions)

"I'm going to do my best and see what happens."

2. Present continuous (arrangements)

"I'm helping my classmates with the homework tonight."

3. will + V1 (predictions)

"It will be useful for your career."

Intentions

Intentions are things that you want to do. For this we use:

going to + V1

Put the words into the correct order to make a sentence

Arrangements

Arrangements are things that you plan to do. For this we use:

Present continuous (am / is / are + Verb-ing)

Predictions

Predictions are things that you think / expect to happen. For this we use:

Will + V1

Put the words into the correct order to make a sentence
