Try the exercise on the next slide and see how you feel after...

How do you feel after that?

Active Mindfulness?

Not all mindfulness is about sitting down and breathing. You can be active while practicing mindfulness by going for a walk and simply noticing how the breeze feels, the warmth of the sun and sounds around you. Embrace the feel of your excersise!

The same applies when you're eating! Notice the tastes, try to focus on individual flavours - how does it match the smell? How does the food feel when you bite into it?

Home-Task

There are thousands of videos and apps available to help you consider how you are being mindful - download one, watch a video in private and genuinely consider how you feel after - you might surprise yourself!

Do you think mindfulness could help you? Why or why not?
