Formula

Part (or amount) / 100 x percentage

1492 / 100 x 28 = 418 students

Perunage

 Perunage = percentage : 100

Answer: 

28 : 100 = 0,28

0,28 x 1492 = 418

Mirjam has bought a TV at the MediaMarkt. Normally the price is € 499.99. She got a 10% discount. What is the amount of discount that Mirjam received? Round off to two decimal places.

Joost has a parttime job and earns € 65 per week. Per week he saves 25% of his earned money. How much money does Joost have left to do fun things? Round off to two decimal places.

Barry earns € 8.45 per hour. He is getting a raise of 15%. How many euros is Barry going to earn more per hour after his raise? Round off to two decimal places.
