How do we solve a quadratic equation with the quadratic formula? 

1. Write the equation in the form ax2 + bx + c = 0

3. Calculate the discriminant (D)

4. Fill in the quadratic formula to solve for x 

$$x=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{D}}{2a}$$

2. x² + x + 2 = 0                    4. x(5x-7) = -2
