Rangtelnummers (ordinal numbers)

Een rangtelwoord maak je (bijna !) altijd door er   

-th achter te zetten.

Voorbeeld:

Four  -  Fourth 

Five  -  Fifth 

Six  -   Sixth

 Seven  -  Seventh 

Uitzonderingen:

First - Second - Third (en twenty-first, thirty-second, etc.).

five - fifth 

eight - eighth

nine - ninth

twelve - twelfth

twenty - twentieth
(thirty - thirtieth, forty -  fortieth enz..)

Ordinals, what is the rule of thumb?
(bijv. zesde, tiende, veertiende)

1. st, for example 1st
2. nd, for example 2nd
3. rd, for example 3rd
4. th, for example 4th
