Social inequality 

social inequality = sociale ongelijkheid. This means that some people live in better circumstances (omstandigheden) than other people. Also, this means that some people have bigger houses and have more money than other people. Especially the white minority (the South Africans of Dutch, German and English descent) live in better houses than people of colour.

Pay attention to (let op!) 

Als je wat zegt over 'hoe' iets gebeurt en over het werkwoord. (het woord eindigt op een '-ic' of op 'y') dan krijg je: 

1) He easily defeated his opponent. (easy -> easily) 

2) The door opened automatically (automatic -> automatically)
