'Simple' sentences; geven één idee weer

Examples: 

• She dances gracefully.
• The sun shines brightly.
• He reads books.
• They walk in the park.

Understanding Sentence Structures

Compound sentences voegen twee 'gelijke' zinnen samen, de zogenaamde 'independent clauses' dmv 'coordinating conjunctions'.

Examples:

'yet' geeft een tegenstelling aan

'so' geeft een resultaat.

Constructing Complex Sentences

Complex sentences maak je door subordinating conjunction = ondergeschikte voegwoorden te gebruiken, zoals:

after.
