Active: People make most cars in Asia.
Passive: Most cars are made in Asia.

Original is Present Continuous 'are preparing'
so the Passive needs to be too!

ACTIVE= He steals a bike.
Subject = He
Verb = steals
Object = a bike
ACTIVE
AGENT = Who / What performs the ACTION is at the beginning of the sentence.

Hundreds of  bikes are stolen each year.
                     
           
          Subject = Hundreds of bikes
Verb = are stolen

PASSIVE
The 'victim' is in the beginning of the sentence. The Agent (who did 'it') is unknown.

How to recognize a passive sentence...
- check if there is a form of 'to be' used (am, are, is, was, were, been)
- is it followed by a participle (voltooid deelwoord)?
- is it followed by 'by + noun or pronoun? If not, can it be followed by 'by zombies'?
Are all answers 'yes'? Congratulations, you have a passive sentence.
