Which strategies can you use when making a reading text?

A few strategies that you can use

Altijd eerst de vraag lezen -> bepaal wat voor soort lezen je nodig hebt.

•  What is the main idea of the text? -> oriënterend lezen: lees titel, bekijk plaatjes, bronvermelding, schema’s/rijtjes, vet/cursieve woorden, tusenkopjes, inleiding (eerste alinea)
  
• When did Kelly graduate? -> scanning/zoekend lezen: lees de titel, tussenkopjes, kernwoorden, vet/cursieve woorden, stop met lezen als je het gevonden hebt.
  

A few reading strategies 

• Multiple choice: streep het “onzin” antwoord altijd eerst weg. Dan heb je nog twee antwoorden. Kijk goed wat het verschil is. Staat er een specifieke alinea in de vraag (kijk daar goed naar!!)
• Citeren zin? -> aanhalingstekens open, eerste 2 woorden, dan puntjes, dan laatste twee woorden, aanhalingstekens sluiten
