Is about actions or events that happened in the past.

Signal words:

last ... (week, day, month, year, etc.)

... ago (a minute, an hour, a year, etc.)

specific dates in the past (in 2007, on July 11th, etc.)

Regular verbs are formed by adding -ed

verb + -ed
