What is COSHH?
COSHH stands for Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.
It is a law to keep everyone safe from potentially harmful substances at work.
Why COSHH is Important
In salons, we work with chemicals like dyes and cleaners. COSHH ensures we control their risks to protect the health of both staff and clients.

What is a Hazard?
A hazard is anything that could cause harm / accident, such as chemicals, sharp tools, or slippery floors in the salon.
What is a Risk?
A risk is the chance that someone could be harmed by the hazard if it is not properly dealt with.

Dealing with an Accident
