  • 28th of June, 1914 in Sarajevo
  • Ultimatum to Serbia is formulated in accord with Germany, who support is sought first
  • Handed to Serbian government: 23rd July 1914. They had 48 hours to react. Terms that no state would ever accept according to Winston Churchill
  • 25th July: all terms are accepted, except the internal investigation
  • 28th of July: Austrian-Hungarian Empire declares war on Serbia
