We're going to look at some common mistakes, taken from your written work.

Many of them will look familiar, because we have gone over them before.

On each slide, you will see one sentence. Each sentence has one mistake (unless it says differently).

Please find the mistake in each sentence and correct them.

For most of the sentences, you don't have to rewrite the whole thing, as long as your answer is clear.

For example:

I had to wait to long for the bus.

to long = too long

2. I play by a big club, like Manchester City.

3. I never heard of that before.

4. What would you do if you win the jackpot?

5. I wanna show you our capital city, Amsterdam.

6. Exually/Acually/Ectually/Axually/Exyually

7. I think i would invest the money.

8. I also like to meet up after quarantine is over.

9. Making tests at home really isn't my thing.

10. I don't know that guy from finland.

11. Watching Netflix en eating are the only things I do.

12. Because of the lockdown, it's boring here either.

13. I can show u many things in the big cities.

14. I hope your doing well.

15. Im really into their new clothing line.

16. Then, I would spend the money to things I want.

17. First, I would buy a house for my parents, then I would buy one to.

18. I only use public transit when I can't go with the car.

19. I used it on vacation when travelling between two city's.

20. I only use the bus never the train.

21. ... so I maybe come late at school. (you need to rewrite the whole sentence here)

22. I don't like stepping over to another train.

23. I use public transport once in the three weeks.
