• The present continuous: now, at the moment(I am working now.)

Present continuous

Wanneer gebruik je deze tijd?  -  Ant:  Als iets nu gebeurt.

                                                                      Om irritatie uit te drukken.

                                                                      Afspraken maken.

Hoe maak je deze tijd?              -  Ant:  to be (am, are,is) + werkwoord + ing

                                                                     = I am walking to school right now.

                                                                         

Present continuous

1. Robert is playing the guitar.                 (Robert's playing)

2. My sister is studying in het room.      (sister's studying)

3. My parents are driving home now.    

4. I am searching for my keys.                (I'm searching)

5. We are drinking the same thing.        (we're driving)

6. She is always talking too much.         (She's always talking)

7. I am meeting John this afternoon.      (I'm meeting)
